SÖLDEN REGION

A HOLIDAY PARADISE IN THE ÖTZTAL ALPS

With 466.97 square kilometres, Sölden is, in terms of area, Austria’s largest municipality. Yet of all this, only around 1 kilometre has been developed and the rest remains distributed amongst glaciers and mountains, forests and meadows. This results not only in endless picturesque views and landscapes but also many recreational possibilities, particularly in the snow-covered winter.
